FRANKENSTORM??!!!

At 11:07 AM we are on the very edge of the storm. There is gusty wind and a little rain, which should start kin ernest in the next hour or so.  Most of the state is pretty much shut down and coastal area evacuated.

I've been working on the plants I brought into the sun room....arranging and re arranging.  The Christmas cacti have set their buds.  It looks like at least some of them will be Thanksgiving cacti.

I hope everybody in the path of Sandy is taking the proper precautions and staying off the streets.

Take care, and as always.......thanks for stopping by.....*s*

  1. Wouldn't you know that I am in NH this week! We were here last year for the Halloween snow. Rain and wind is just starting to pick up.

  2. Such a big storm. Great advice for anyone in that area. Hope you stay safe and that storm will fizzle out when it hits land.
I miss my sunroom. How neat your Christmas cactus will be blooming soon. Their so pretty. Makes me want one again.

  3. I also have buds on the little cactus, which I just brought inside. Hope they don't all fall off now. I am leaving plants outside on a shelving unit "shelter" on the front porch, so I can use the studio inside porch more this winter. That reminds me, need to go turn on their light to keep them warm! sharing wishes that all are safe from the storm.

  7. Dearest Suzi,

We even had those wind gusts for two days, now it is calm but temperatures should drop near freezing tonight (real feel that is) so some plants are inside the greenhouse.
    Hope you stay well!
    Hugs,
