  5. Hi Linda...He looks a little dull to me as I had to shoot him through the window. The koi are in reality goldfish, that we paid twelve cents apiece for three years ago. We had four survive the original batch; the rest have bred in the pond.

Hi Connie...Spring is trying, although it's cold and windy enough to have the wood stove going. I'm so glad we aren't having snow!

Hi Christa....I think it's important to remember where we live.

Hi Corrine....I have more white violets that bloom later in the spring.

  7. Hi Midori...I'm sure your screen setting is fine. Purple finch's, at least in southern New England, are more of a red than a purple. Who knows how dark they were when they were named?

  8. I LOVE the names you picked out for your pond fish! I spent Earth day feeling grounded with Mother Earth in the garden.

  10. Dearest Suzi,
We ought to celebrate Earth Day 365 days a year! Preserving as best as we can what we got.
Your surroundings look lovely and you show tender care and love for your pet-fish!
    Hugs,
    Mariette
