Busy!

Between doc. appointments, another three day migraine (due to low pressure, rain and allergies), and living I haven't been posting much.

During a lull in the rain Winter went beserk.  There was a large flock of turkeys in the woods behind the house.  Did she hear them?  see them?  smell them?  I don't know, but the birds were totally unimpressed with her antics.

Finally we are enjoying some sun and warmer temps.  We'll be working outside, prepping for winter.

Enjoy some sunny days, to those who are experiencing torrential rains....stay safe.

As always, thanks for stopping by................*s*

  2. Dearest Suzi,
So you must have been experiencing the same dark, wet and dreary days that we lived through. Yesterday the sun came out again and I was so happy and even more with the warmth that came with it.
Hope you feel fit again! That is important at our age, well even more so for you.
Sending you hugs and what a number of turkeys you got visiting!

    1. Hi Mariette....Even though we needed the rain, it was good to have the sun again.
Toes crossed for one of our long, warm New England falls.

  6. Glad your feeling better!
I loved seeing all the turkey flocks when I was in NH last week. We don't see as many here in Seagrove NC. They are such goofy big birds.

  7. Hi Michele....Thanks. Turkeys have made a huge comeback in this area. I remember a time when a turkey was rare. Now we see them often. I think they are pretty goofy looking too. They become transformed when they spread their tails!
