Catching Up

Sometimes it takes me a while.  The bottom picture is the unfired sippers I did last December.  I sold a few of them so in the top photo I only have four of the finished ones to show.  The photo isn't great but it gives a pretty good idea of what the finished sippers look like.

Winter is still the doldrums.  I have been dealing with fighting off the edge of a cold.  Yes it's a cold and not the flu.  I haven't had a cold in years so I have forgotten what it is like.  Mostly I just want to lie around like a sloth.

Toes crossed everyone is enjoying good health.

As always, thanks for stopping by..........*s*

  1. Looks good. Hope you shake off the cold, or just muddle through and are well soon. Time for rest and recuperation!

  2. Hi Barb....Thanks. The cold is at the nuisance stage. I don’t feel lousy enough to rest all the time, but am not well enough to do anything for more than a short time.

    1. Hi Linda....Thanks. With many cats (4 on the bed as I write this) I find it easy to use them as models and inspiration. They have to earn their keep somehow! 🤭

  5. Dearest Suzi,
You are quite an artist for painting those sippers in a fun way.
Well, Pieter had the flu, like a lingering bronchitis which worried me very much, considering his heart condition. He's fine now.
I myself had a terrible back problem from cold around Christmas and for days, also when I had to drive down to Ft. Lauderdale and on to Sarasota. Luckily by than it was over with. But the weather is so unstable from very warm to freezing and than cold, wet and windy... Back to back problems and like yo write, I would love to snuggle up with our cat babies and hibernate! One would also want to hibernate from the ugly world we seem to be living in.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  6. Hi Mariette....I am so very sorry to hear of your and Pieter’s health set backs.
The flu season has been very bad this year. I had a head cold but nothing worse than that.
Toes crossed that you stay warm and healthy. Late hibernation sounds like a good idea!
