It's warm enough for a bunch of little moths to be stuck to the windows at night. 'm glad they aren't inside as the cats go crazy trying to catch them!
Meanwhile, Aloysius had to see how well he would fit into the wreath I was decorating to go outside. He seems to think he's just swell in it!
My amaryllis are starting to bloom. I got the bulbs at the market which means that they may or may not last to bloom another year. I pay so little for them that It;s not a worry. It certainly is pretty to have more flowers blooming in December.
Enjoy the week.
As always, thanks for stopping by.........*s*
wow that's a lot of blossoms on one plant. we've had warmer temps here during the day, it has been really nice.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda....It's actually two bulbs I put in one pot. Each stem has five buds! I am loving this weather.
Deleteoh, your cat, your flower, so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHi Gary....Thanks. Aloysius is always willing to lend a paw. The ultimate Helper Cat!
DeleteHe does look cute in that wreath.
ReplyDeleteHi Lori.....We always say that Aloysius's saving grace is that he looks so cute doing the naughty things he does.
Deletegorgeous Amyrallis - and cat in a wreath is a winner! Goo camera work!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb.....Thanks. I think every home should have a cat climbing through a Christmas wreath!
DeleteDearest Suzi,
ReplyDeleteHaha, those kitties are quite a help with your wreath making. Aloysius seems to LOVE it as his bed.
Congratulations with such a perfect blooming Amaryllis, they are majestic.
Sending you hugs from a balmy warm Georgia.
Mariette
Hi Mariette....Helper Cats are a part of my life.
DeleteAll I did with the Amaryllis is remember to turn them every day so the stems didn't become bent in one directions.
It's supposed to reach 60 today!
I love Amaryllis, especially this time of the year when it's usually snowy and cold (not this year!) Mine is sitting on the counter, not blooming just yet, I am waiting patiently. Dear Aloysius…… :)
DeleteHi Sandy.....Amaryllis make their presence known and are perfect for this time of year. No snow her either with temps in the 50's!
DeleteThe amaryllis are beautiful. That's a plant I have never owned, maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteHi Michele....Most of the time I buy bulbs at the market. They are easy to grow. I turn mine every few days so the stems don't become bent. They would probably be really happy in your new home.
Deletethe amaryllis look great... cats will sit in the darndest places :)
ReplyDeleteHi Anna.....Amaryllis certainly give huge bang for the buck!
