Hope

This morning on what promises to be another cold, dreary December day, when I went out to feed the birds, these morning glories were blooming away in their  pot by the door. With all the sadness and horrors of the past days it gives me such a sense of hope to see that flowers go on blooming and spreading small moments of joy.

Say safe and strong in these troubled times.  Thanks for stopping by.............*s*

Snow

It's snowing in a rather half-hearted way.  It's what my mother, and thus I, called a 'sugar snow' because it looks like a ton of icing sugar had been dumped on the world.

It's. pretty to look at, but I am oh-so-glad I don't have to go out in it today.

Probably everyone has read, heard of the shooting in Providence at Brown University.  I am having a lot of trouble thinking that this could happen in an area I once lived in. Right now I cannot say more. We live about forty miles south, so are not in any danger.

My heart is with students and their loved ones.

As always, stay safe, and thanks for stopping by...............*s*

Christmastide

These very small Dwarf Alberta Spruce were on sale at our local market.  I purchased two and decided that it is not too early for a few decorations.  I have them in the sunroom where I have my winter studio,  May even buy a few more lights for them.

I will need to find a cool spot to winter over after the holidays.

The dragons have been gathering.  I think they may arrive soon.

Good yule to all.  As always thanks for stopping by.............*s*
