Never Underestimate

I have two sides of the house more or less finished.  I don't usually work in sections like this.  I prefer to consider the entire object, but this is so radically different on the other two sides it's almost like two different buildings.  I may make the remaining parts a little surreal, or go for a straightforward farmhouse.
I need to think about it.

Never underestimate the power of clean laundry.  KikiLaSois and TheFriendlyKitty arrived about a year apart.  Friendly is friendly to humans not other kitties so this is a surprise.  Once last summer they curled up next to Breezy when she became geriatric, but mostly it's been kitty stink eyes.  Yesterday I brought up a basket of unfolded laundry.  These two curled up with each other within a half hour.  I wonder what will happen when I put the clothes away.

We'll see.....grasshopper....we'll see.

As always, thanks for stopping by...........-s-

  1. Oh you work like I do sometimes, thinking and letting the ideas ramble about in your head a while, isn't it fun. I am loving this house of yours so much potential and so much detail, can't wait to see what you do with the other side. I just took some photos of my two male cats lying together on the bed and then I came here and saw your two sweet ones.

  3. Cats just take a while. They don't hurry into relationships.

  4. Hi Linda....Out of chaos come ideas. I'm staring at white walls right now. Our kitties seem to share a mindset.
BIG THANKS for the mention on your blog!

Hi Meredith...slow but steady...if I do more it will go a lot faster.

Hi Patti....Sometimes it takes years for cats to acclimate to each other.....time and space seem to be the ingredients.
