  2. Naomi's decoration looks pretty and unusual! It looks porcelain in the photo, but slip on top?

    1. Hi Midori....Naomi works in porcelain in what is called Nerikme or Neriage. Blocks of designs are made with colored clay, cut and rolled. Naomi uses hers over porcelain and builds her pottery. If yoy google Naomi or Nerikame you can find lots of info

    2. Thank you. I thought it looks similar to nerikomi, a Japanese technique, but inside usually has same patterns, so I thought something different. She must have done something clever to make inside white. : )
