I love morning glories but they were so aggressive where I used to live in California, here in Georgia they might be kept in check with the cold.

I believe purple is the colour of choice for 2014 so you are right on track. Like Linda said here in Sydney Australia the Morning Glory is considered a weed as it grows so rampantly but they are pretty.
