I have been taking the time to bring in plants that I want to overwinter. I have given them a good spray of insecticide .....actually castille soap which works very well against small bugs and such. The shades of pink are various petunias with a few impatience for good measure. The whites are mandevilla. I used to winter them very successfully. And yes that is a morning-glory happily blooming. It has many buds, which I hope, toes crossed, will continue to bloom.
There are still a few to bring in, some scabiosa(beautiful flow with a gross name) in blue, a few more petunias, and amaryllis. The amaryllis may or may not bloom. I rescued them a couple of years ago. They are putting out green, but so far only leaves. I keep them well sprayed with a lemon-pepper solution which the cats hate. I spray most of my plants with this as I am not thrilled with chewed plants. Waking up with a cat dragging a frond of asparagus fern across your face is not fun. I am considering small pots of catnip and cat grass to keep them happy.
We'll see grasshopper............we'll see.........
Sty strong and as always, thanks for stopping by.........VOTE!...........*s*
