So I arrived for appointments yesterday, only to be told that this provided did not cover my health plan. They had tried call on my land line, but of course I wasn't there. Somehow my cel phone never got entered into additional contacts. So I hade a forty-five minute journey for nothing. I will say that doc and nurses were sympathetic and spent time explaining various tests I have had done. The worst was getting my ride service to arrange my ride hoe. It took about an hour, but was finally rescued by a very kind driver.
The odd thing is that the panic I have been feeling since the original colonoscopy has gone. I feel very much in control and will start contacting my various docs on moving forward. Perhaps my new goal is. Beating the System.
On a happier note our new drier just arrived. It was lovely hanging laundry out in the summer sun, but WINTER IS COMING. and I really do need to wash some blankets and stuff which will take forever to line dry. Never thought I would be so thrilled over something as mundane as a clothes drier, but there you are!
As always, thanks for stopping by.......*s*.......
crazy when they don't cover necessary things
ReplyDeleteHealth insurance as an industry is not the friendliest bunch of folks. But medical treatments still are necessary, so I love the ide of working around the "System." And congrats on your new dryer! Mmm, my poor blankets could certainly enjoy something like that too.
