Saw a new doc last Thursday. She is actually a a colo/rectal surgeon but is overseeing my treatment. Very honest about the radiation and what to expect. Also thinks I will do better on chemo pills rather than whatever regular chemo is called. I have. been promised anti-nausea medication. Now it's a question of waiting to get various docs coordinated as to a treatment plan. Toes crossed things will be taken care of this week.
One of the things I am most anxious about is how I will handle transportation. I will be able to use a ride service. But it is approximately forty-five minute drive each way. and that, for some reason, scares the crap out of me.
Voted by mail and dropped my ballot in the box at the town hall, Perhaps one facet of my anxiety will be eased by lots of blue votes. Not a problem, we are one of the darkest blue states in the USA.
Off to get covid booster and flu shots.......and pay property taxes......etc. It's always something!
