Love the photo Suzi! The contrast of the snowy cold and the blooming impatients if lovely! I brought some of mine in this year but our kitty Bonnie thought they were for her enjoyment and proceeded to destroy them!
Hi June.....What is with cats and summer flowers? The only ones I can keep are on high shelves. The large planter I had on the floor bit the dust. It's also interesting to chew on nasturstiums, bamboo, and pineapple....as for papyrus, it has to be hidden away in Proge's studio......YUM! Salad!
Dearest Suzy, Lovely impatients and I had to laugh at keeping them on high shelves. For several years I only have a few houseplants in our veranda; very limited due to feline invasion. But we love them! Hugs, Mariette
Hi Mariette......I have a wall of plants shelves. Kitties (so far) don't eat Christmas Cacti, so they go on the lower shelves......everything else is out of reach. There's something so cheerful having marigolds and impatiens in bloom when there is snow outside that it's worth the effort. We do love our 4leggers don't we,
Ahhhhhhh a bit of green and pink against the snow...... delightful! We are knee deep here with more on the way! Think I will go water the indoor greenery and start a tray of alfalfa sprouts :)
