As I said on FB, I'm so sorry to know you've lost the presence of your fur-baby...I know you'll miss him fiercely, especially for the first little while. Hugs.
Dearest Suzi, That is quite shocking, was he sick or that old...?! No matter what but our fur babies are our family members and we care for them and want to give them a life full of love and no pain. When we came back from our vacation to the mountains, will slowly start writing about that too, our Spunky girl had a bloody butt. So I took her to the Vet and it was a ruptured anal gland... She got a shot and after paying $ 47.00 I took her home. She's perfect within a week but what a scare. The cat-sitter had noticed it and alarmed me, she too got worried as she said: 'Meanwhile they're also half mine...' Receive a big all around hug! Mariette
Thank you so very much for the kind words and sympathy for Aloysius. The entire thing lasted six weeks. It started with what we thought was an eye infection, then manifested as a tumor pressing into the brain and nervous system. We soon realized that care and comfort was our best option. He stopped eating the day before he died and slipped into a coma. He died quietly beside me on Saturday. We buried him in our memory garden near our loved pets. Angain, thank you for all your kind thoughts.........*s*
I am so sorry for your loss. It's so difficult to lose a pet. They are an important part of our families.
