Today I am feeling deeply saddened and disgusted by what #45/47 is doing to the White House. This building which is a symbol of our country is being destroyed as casually as if it were a slum renewal project. This White House where Abigail Adams supposedly hung her laundry, Where Dolly Madison fled with Washington's portrait, Where Jacqueline Kennedy saw something special and precious and worked to preserve it. This small petty, shell of a man whose idea of beauty and elegance is Las Vegas Baroque is destroying heritage to promote his own tacky taste.
The depth of my sadness surprises me. This is a person who has tried to destroy so many things at an appalling rate. Demolishing part of an historic building may be small on the list of terrible things he I doing, but it strikes at the heart of what we are.
We are invaded by carpetbaggers and scalawags.

ReplyDeletemight want to see what it looks like when finished. it may surprice you especially if Melania has a say. perhaps you don't recall obama tearing part of the white house down to build a basketball court. Oh what about all the statues antifa tore down or cities that burned, the carpetbaggers and scalawags are in our streets as we speak, not to mention the freeloaders many from other countries.
