Mother Nature and Grandfather Frosty have ganged up on us after lulling us into a false sense of security. Lulled, I tell you LULLED!
Enough pictures of storms have been posted. Instead here is a photo of sunrise on Saturday morning. As much as I dislike snow this was magical. There was no wind so all day we enjoyed a very special light. Usually the wind blows the trees clean, so this was a particular treat!
I have also been baking bread a little more often. This loaf is one of my experimental sourdoughs. It was so tasty that we ate it all up!
Stay warm and cozy or cool and cozy.
As always, thanks for stopping by...........*s*
Looks gorgeous...outside. The bread does too...recipe possible or was it too experimental?
ReplyDeleteI was happy with the mild winter. I'm not looking forward to the layers I'll need for the next week.
ReplyDeleteThe sunrise and the bread look gorgeous. Of course snow always is nicer in pictures. You can keep it.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photo of the snow trees, we got a light dusting but it is really cold
ReplyDeleteDearest Suzi,
ReplyDeleteOh sure, it was cool and very windy outside here. Sunny but we had to bundle up for our walk.
Inside it feels good and you are smart for baking such a delicious bread. Can't blame you for eating it all!
Hugs,
Mariette
This is just a quick response to all comments. I had a problem with posting comments, but seemed to have solved it.
ReplyDeleteThanks you all, for the comments. I love hearing from you!
Yes, the snow sure is pretty when it is freshly fallen. No snow here, but as Meredith said, the cold has arrived. It was in the 20's when I woke this morning.
ReplyDeleteHi Michele....Snow is pretty as long as don't have to be out in it! We are having the coldest days we've had this winter!
