I am indeed going through another bout of Lyme. Saw my doc yesterday for what was basically a follow up appointment. Showed her a bite I got less than a week ago, which was already showing a ring. Immediately prescribed three weeks of antibiotics.
At least I don’t have to worry about reaction to sun, but it’s still a drag. I am more annoyed than anything.
GRRRRR!!!
We’ll see, grasshopper......we’ll see.......
As always, stay safe, enjoy the weekend, and, as always, thanks for stopping by...........*s*
That's a bummer. Like you, my brother has battled it multiple times. I hope the antibiotics kick it's butt!
ReplyDeleteHi Michele...So far antibiotics have done their job. Multiple times seems to be a thing that goes with living in New England.
DeleteOh no!!! I am so sorry and hope you caught it in time. Be well soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Patti...Toes crossed that everything will go well.
DeleteDearest Suzi,
ReplyDeleteOh my, that is no fun for having to live through that again.
Hope you soon will be free of it and no nasty side affects.
I'm sleep deprived, took a nap and we were up by 4:30 PM... not a good sign but I've been feeding our Barty boy during the night, any time I need to go to the bathroom anyway. He's taking his prednisone pill very well and is eating a little, with a lot of coaching. He's old but I want him to feel better. There is no way however to get the dropper fed into his mouth, with the antibiotics. Did put it in his food the first two days but he did quit eating it... So what can we do?! Kitties cannot talk but they do communicate in a way. I'm in the Rose Suite at night, with my Barty boy...
Hugs,
Mariette
Hi Mariette...Thanks for your good wishes.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry to hear about Bartyboy. Toes crossed he continues to improve.

Deletedh got a red bullseye and it took two doses of antibiotics to get it to go away. hope all goes well for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda...So far I have been fortunate that I respond well to doxycycline. I worry about building an immunity to antibiotics. Recurrences are the worst as they are so hard to diagnose.
