More Musings

Of course long term weather predictions for this area are chancy to say the very least, I was cheered to see that the February monthly forecast predicts that the temps will begin to rise by Valentine's Day.  It will be nice to see temps in the 40ºF, even if there is rain.  I will be overjoyed when the snow melts.

The car went to be repaired and inspected yesterday.  It needs works, but will not be as costly, but costly enough.  Still cheaper than buying another car. and I must say it's one of the most reliable vehicles I have ever owned.

Feeling relatively energetic this morning I managed to do a load of laundry and get it hung.  Our dryer passed out from old age.  Until we get another we are foregoing doing sheets, towels, etc.  I suppose we could dry them at a local laundromat, but the idea of hauling laundry around does not appeal.  Fortunately we are well supplied.

Recently watched The Color Room, a biography of Clarisse Cliff.  It's a goodie, not easily available, but worth watching.

I hate what is happening out in the world.  I think my big question for today is WHY?

Stay strong; stay warm, and as always, thanks for stopping by..........*s*

  1. Yes, I've watched that movie, and became even more enamored of her work. It's good to have reliable transportation. Goodness you've got a lot of towels and sheets, and I hope a drier is in the future soon enough. Keep warm...spring is actually around the corner. I'm looking closely at the answer to Why, by imagining the ways things/systems can change for the better, rather than focusing on the problems. In otherwords, making a vision of peaceful ways of life world wide, that there's a set of guidelines (now we call them laws or morals) which everyone can agree upon and follow willingly... so let me know what you think of, because I know you're creative.
