Musings

 Yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day.  This morning I woke up wondering why.  There were a few changes,,,,,

Made tea, fed the birds, gave the kittehs their treats, contemplated the day's sonnet, read and deleted emails, checked the blogs I follow and wrote a short post here.  It sounds like a lot, but really it's a half to three quarters of an hour.  Then, because I had to deal with the car.......instead of endless scrolling through FB and all.......I GOT. UP!

Was it going out and messing with getting the car out the driveway?  Was it changing routine?  Was it staying away from the inevitable and somewhat unavoidable gloom of so much that is posted?  Not sure,  but it sure made me feel better

I also watched Pride and Prejudice, the Jennifer Ehles, Colin Firth version. ( I have at least three different versions, all on DVD.)   Immersing myself in other times is a nice escape.

So.....today.....finally taking the auto in....(shop asked to delay for a day.)

The sun is getting closer to the point where it hits my bedroom window when it rises.  It's starting out sunny and bright, but who knows what the day will be like.  This is New England after all!
