Snow falls gently on
Trees in magical wonder;
Winer, you still suck
The deck at 7:30 AM this morning. Supposed to keep up of mot of the day. So far, toes crossed, we have power!
It's a far cry from last September.
And I keep telling myself that it will. pass. Toes crossed we are not entering some new ice age.

MY! That was fun!
We lost power just as I wrote the last words above. We got by with our powerful flashlights last night and hooked up the inverter this morning. Fortunately power was restored about an hour ago. Everything seems good to go.
The driveway, however is quite another story. Prove has shoveled various paths but it looks like two feet of snow is on the ground. No. grasshopper, we will not be driving out through this! Plus there are trees down that will have to be removed before a plow can get in here.
I am tired of living in 'interesting times'
We'll see, grasshopper.............we'll see...........
Meanwhile, stay strong, stay war, tay safe....it' a blizzard out there folks.
As always, thanks for stopping by.

still getting snow ?!
ReplyDeleteIt petered out late Monday. Yesterday was blue skies. Woke up to snow this morning. Thankfully it stopped.
DeleteRhode Island's record breaking snowfall is all over the news (though I didn't watch any of the political coverage yesterday!) It's beautiful but certainly constraining. Hope it doesn't cause you all any problems.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beauty I can do without!
